Boys first name to go with Raffy (namers remorse)

my DS is now 6 months old and I HATE his name so I need to find a new name to go with his middle name; Raffy. I can't really think of any names that ilike. I'm thinking about Mason but I'm not loving it. Why can't I name my son?!

What sort of surname have you got? What's his name atm?

Do you like Raffy? Could you upgrade Raffy to first name and then pick a new middle? So maybe, Rafferty or Raphael nn Raffy?

What about a name that means something to you? Like you father/grandfather/brother or your someone from you DP's family?

6 months and no name! really? if you like raffy just call him raffy! he needs a name fast bless him, he will be learning it soon if he hasnt already...

Why not just call him Raffy and keep his first name as it is? You don't need a middle name.

I have several friends who are known by middle names and not there first.

Manson doesn't go well with Raffy imo.

Stop worrying though - he's only 6 months. You CAN change his name - take your time and get it sorted, then change his bc.

For a start, upgrade Raffy to Raphael or Rafferty, then you and he have more choices for the future. Raffy's not great unless you absolutely love it!

So, what do you call him atm if you hate his first name so much? Raffy is nice. Interested to know what went so wrong with the first name though! I can't imagine renaming after 6 months, telling everyone he had a new name etc and all the faff, can you change the birth cert, or does it have to be done by deed poll?
