Opinions and suggestions for DC1 please

Currently expecting DC1. DH & I have spent years talking about what we would call our first child but now it has come to it we just can't decide! Our last name begins with B.

These are the ones we current agree on.

Girls:
Nancy (current favourite)
Elizabeth
Faye (possible middle name)
Rose
Angelica
Kathryn
Juliet
Meredith (I love this but DH doesn't :( )
Hazel
Ava (middle name only)

Boys:
Sebastian (like it a lot but not sure if we would actually use it)
James (like it but very popular)
Zachary (love but DH not sure)
William

Our boys middle names are already decided.

Suggestion for names 'like' these very welcome and opinions on these names. We love traditional names and don't want to use anything short for anything else (eg would choose Zachary over Zach).

Like all your boys names apart from Zachary as I don't really like Zac/k as a nn. But that's just me.

ooh just spotted you have Hazel on your list! we both loved that but all our children have blue eyes (dp and i both blue eyed) and i thought a blue eyed, blonde hazel would seem a bit odd. my dd is at the boys all were, blonde and blue eyed, the boys hair seems to have got darker as they got older, more mousey blonde, but i just felt that colouring wouldnt work with the name hazel for some reason but i DO love it as a name.

Oh wow, thanks for all the replies! Some great suggestions, I'm going to put these to DH later (particularly like Jennifer, Alice, Helena, Francesca, Thomas, David, Edward, Leo).
midlandsnightnannybabysitter Those are exactly what I would shorten Elizabeth to although I'm worried about Beth as last name begins with B.
I forgot to mention boy's middle name would be Michael (family name).
I really wish I could get DH to like Meredith :)
