Roman or Rhodri?

DH and I have chosen either

Roman Elwyn
Or
Rhodri Francis

for our next bundle of joy (if it is a boy!), due in two weeks.

We both like both names, I prefer Rhodri and DH prefers Roman. I prefer Rhodri as I'm welsh, and would like to preserve some heritage, I also think it's a lovely name and it has always been our 'top of the list name'. DH prefers Roman and he jokes about calling the baby Roman Brutus Maximus :-D

Part of me hopes the baby is a girl as neither of us is backing down?!

What does everyone think??

Rhodri is much much better than Roman. My DP is Welsh so maybe biased.

I think we're going to go with Rhodri Elwyn... Haven't told DH that yet though Grin

I love Rhodri, and the names got an awesome history behind it 'Rhodri the Great' lol. I agree about the celeb thing, I've noticed a few Romans since I've been thinking about the name and it's put me right off!
