So far, our list is varied and we have disagreed on many!

Between us, we like:

Esme
Alexandra (Lexi)
Olivia (Liv)
Florence (Florrie)
Imogen (Immy)
Emily (You get the picture...)
Amelia
Georgina
Caitlyn

Lewis
Rudy
Raffa/Raffy
Levi (although a friend has just called her dog this so very quickly going off it!)
Theo
Oliver
Matthew
Daniel

Our surname is quite an unusual 2 syllable name starting in K and ending in "shaw" so would prefer names not ending in a "c" or "k"...

Looking for ideas for any other names that we might both like, please!!

I love Alexandra (lexi) and would have like to call any other daughter that. We stopped at 2, 1 boy 1 girl so wont get to use it.

I also like Alaina. (lainey)

Nicole??
I love Esme, very pretty

MimiPost · 16/02/2012 16:05

I agree that Leo is very similar to some that are already on your list, and is a lovely name. Certainly near the top of my own list. You could also consider

Alexander - since you like Alexandra. There are lots of nice derivatives too, to avoid boring old 'Alex' e.g. Lex, Sandy, Zander etc.

Felix (think someone else said this)

I love Raffa/Raffy/Rafael too, by the way.

As for girls...

Anastasia is pretty, and is similar to some on your list.

Isabella (is my current fav)

Amalia is a nice and rarer alternative to Amelia.

Good luck!

MimiPost · 16/02/2012 16:09

Also consider Oscar!

MamaMimi · 16/02/2012 17:26

....and maybe Thea for a girl or Vaughn for a boy?!

racingheart · 16/02/2012 20:32

From your list I love Georgina for a girl and Theo for a boy.
All the other names on the lists are lovely but our primary school is teeming with the lot of them. It's almost wrong to call a baby Olivia or Oliver now as they've been top 10 UK names for so long
