No A's, J's T's or P's please (they are taken)

Surname means a D to start 2nd syllable would be great.
We have geared-up for something zanish
I'd like to find a Yankee name, think Great Gatsby

Very good names, thank you.

I am adding Belinda, Gerard & Harvey to shortlist.

D 2nd syllable is proving tough, so far only Ida and Brandon (though Belinda works) (Wanda and Wendy are out).

I will also forward Indiana, Madison, Dakota, Maddox, Braxton & Harper to my Yankee OH who will no doubt shoot them down as "too southern".

Have you thought of using surnames for boys?
Edison
Ryder
Jefferson
Grady
Hudson

I think they sound very gatsby

OtherQtr · 15/02/2012 16:58

That's what I'm talking about KC...

Edison is very good.

Pesto - not looking for the name to end in D - it just doesn't flow with our surname the way that Belinda does. (btw Belinda will not get passed DW)

I rule out Welsh/Scots/Irish names, keep it English or preferably New Englandish.
