Unplanned DC4 is due in under 9 weeks, and we have zero ideas for a boy and a few but neither of us both love them for a girl.

Already have Alfie, Molly and Finlay, surname is also a name beginning with O.

Love but can't use for a boy
Maxwell/Max,
Theo,
Isaac,
James

Girls, I love top four DH loves bottom four,
Frances,
Olive,
Meg,
Nancy,
Florence,
Matilda,
Agnes,
Scarlett

Another vote for Francesca.
Anna

For a boy:

Jonah
Milo

Thanks for the suggestions.

I really like Noah, Leo, and Milo but they don't go with our surname which has an 'Oh' sound at the beginning.

I do like Francesca but prefer Frances as it has a family connection, DH isn't convinced though, so maybe he will go for Francesca.

Assuming you pronounce Finlay as Fin-lee, I think you need to go with a name that ends in an 'ee' sound to match your other children. You've started a bit of a theme and I wouldn't want baby no. 4 to feel left out of that.

Please forgive me if Finlay is pronounced like Finlay and I'm completely off the mark with these suggestions!

Stellan · 16/02/2012 14:47

Sorry, I meant if Finlay is pronounced like Fin-lay.

ninnymuggins · 16/02/2012 17:43

Thanks Stellan the pronunciation of Finlay is a bit of a bone of contention. We meant for it to be pronounced Fin-lay to avoid the three 'ee' sounding names however some people insist on calling him Finley. He is often Finn though, DH and I are serial name shorteners so we often use Al, Moll and Finn.

If I'd known we were going to have four I wouldn't have chosen the similar endings as I feel we are getting themey and I feel it's a bit naff. It's just unfortunate that I really like 'ee' names and they go well with our surname.
