Boy's name help. I don't like any!

Found out yesterday we're expecting a boy. Very excited, except for the prospect of naming him.

These are the only names I like - but cant use for various reasons:

Daniel
Patrick
Matthew
Laurence

I love Simon. Edward is okay. I can't think of any others I like at all! I want a longer short list than two before I begin suggesting to DH (he likes to wait till much nearer the time - I like to plan ahead).

DD is Julia. I don't want another 'J' name and it can't begin with 'L' or end in an 'ie' sound as they wouldn't work with our surname.

Thanks for any suggestions.

We struggled with boys names as all kids in my family were girls and I couldn't picture any! We chose Matthew in the end which I love. I always wanted a name that he won't have to spell out all the time! Why can't you go for one go the names you like? Once you name your child they become the number 1 with that name. I've got friends with boys called Matthew too- but we chose what we wanted!

I like Matthew.Ben is quite nice.Congrats :)
