Name for DC4 - What to call a girl when you have 3DDs already?

Pg with DC4, boy's name will be Eric Steven (family names), girl's name?? I haven't a clue.

DDs' are called Lilith Louise, Alethea Ivy (aka Thea) and Callia Seren.

We like Welsh names (family from there), Greek names (I just like Ancient Greek plays/poems), virtue names (DH & I have virtue names) and strong female/feminist names (hence Lilith!). Only one rule - first initial can't be A, C, J, L, T or V as we already have those as first initials.

Any ideas?

Delphi
Isis
hero
Hestia

EdithWeston · 07/02/2012 14:42

You seem to like the "th" sound. How about Elizabeth, Elspeth or Bethany?

LikeItsGolden · 07/02/2012 14:42

Dione
Gaea

TruthSweet · 07/02/2012 14:47

Ah, should have said we're trying to avoid TH as it doesn't get pron. well round here (Lilith is pron Lil-IFF, Alethea is alee-FFee-yer - erk!).

Thanks for the suggestions I like Hestia and Gaea though Gaea will be pron. Gayer I expect Hmm

mummybare · 07/02/2012 15:08

Ooh, I like some of birdofthenorth's suggestions.

Was going to suggest Emmeline as well. It was on my list, but DH didn't like it.

Bronwyn and Bethan/Bethany are also lovely, as are Helena and Rosa. I like Mo, too. (Could be short for Maureen or Imogen, perhaps?)

All strong yet feminine.

blameitonthecaffeine · 07/02/2012 16:03

Not really feeling any of them - sorry! I like Bronwyn (was a contender for DD2's middle name but it doesn't have 'It' IYKWIM), I like Emmeline (contender for DD1 but Emily is popular/the Madelaine type names are popular), I just haven't seen a name that goes 'call your baby this!'.

Probably expecting a bit too much!

PopoonezerScrooge · 07/02/2012 21:14

Germaine (nn Minnie perhaps) - or is that too feminist? Smile

When I first read your DD's names I thought "Saskia" - not Welsh though.

PopoonezerScrooge · 07/02/2012 21:16

Evangeline does go - but the natural nn for it would be Evie, personally I like the name but you might not be happy with something so popular at the moment.

TruthSweet · 07/02/2012 21:25

I think I'd go with Ever as a NN (as in Ev-Ange-line) I'll run it past DH (the more sane one of the marriage!)

I like Euphemia but would be tempted by Mia as a NN and I know 2 or 3 Mia's.
