Miles, Liam or Damian - which one do you like best?

NOT Damian.

And not Liam, it's a bit rough.

So I guess that leaves Miles!

Miles

I'm another Damian = horror film and Liam, I agree with Lisaro and droves. One used to live in the house backing onto mine, all summer you would hear LEEEEEEEEEEEEHAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I agree it's a shame it has become one of those names because as a name it is fine - it's just the kids I have met with that name.

Miles, best of an odd bunch!

Damien is unusable and probably will be for another twenty years I'd say. THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST!!!

My son is called Liam. I love it but do agree it has become common. I am not a fishwife or rough by the way Grin.

I like Liam best.

Greenwing · 08/02/2012 18:43

Miles definitely my favourite but prefer spelling 'Myles'. I know one with NN 'Mylo'.

Damian just makes me think of Damien in The Omen film. Nasty!

Liam is fine so long as you name him William and use Liam as a nickname, to give him the option later IMHO.

Superfly · 08/02/2012 20:16

Liam is a name in its own right - not a nickname for William. Just saying. Smile

Behind The Name describes Liam as "Irish short form of William" and I believe that this is its origin.
