Boys names that go with DD's name

DC2 is due in May; I have lots of ideas for girls names but just one boys name - Alexander. Although I'm not totally in love with it. We did consider Leo for DC1 but now it sounds a bit 'meh'.

It has to be a name that works in Greek (DH's family).

DD is Isabella.

I know, I'm still confused as to what name I want Grin
I just meant it can't really be very English like Albert Wink

Alexander is a lovely name, with many nice potential nns.

Others: Phillip, Theodore, Christos/Christopher, Luke, Stephen, Timon/Timothy, Jason, Petros/Peter?

Alexander is the perfect name. It works in lots of languages, it has lots of NN potential, it doesn't get confused with anything else, so you don't have to keep repeating it, it works for all ages....(Biased)

randomimposter · 30/01/2012 15:50

Jerome

But Alexander is ok too.

pilates · 30/01/2012 17:50

Alexander sounds great with Isabella

BobbysBeardOfWonder · 31/01/2012 09:20

Thanks :) Am coming back round to the idea of an Alexander now! I like some of the other names above, but not for my DC, IYSWIM!

Was also going to suggest Alexander.

Theodore is another lovely name.

BobbysBeardOfWonder · 31/01/2012 09:31

Yes like Theo Smile I think that sits slightly behind Leo in my pecking order!
