Found out today i'm having another DD my six year old really wants to call the baby Belle, I love the name the only problem is my friend has a toddler called Bell,wondering if she will hate me pinching the name.

If your friend is ok with it and your little dd will not change her mind in a few days time and you and dh really like the name then go for it. But make it a nickname / abbriviation for something else. Mirabelle is gorgeous, as is Isobel, Annabelle or my niece Ishbel.

I would go with it if thats what you want to call her. I think Belle is going to become a bit more popular now than it was because thats what Holly Willoughby's baby is called.
