Ivy or Iris...?

Dd2 is due in 8 weeks and we still haven't decided what we are going with. Until a few weeks ago we were thinking about the name India, but I've gone off that one now.

DH likes Ivy, I'm not so sure now after Beyonce used it, still think its a really pretty name though. Iris was on my list for Dd1 two years ago and I still love it, although DH is not too keen. Opinions please mumsnetters!

By the way we do/have liked other names NOT begining with the letter I!

Iris. Don't like Ivy at all.

I've - that is what the only Ivy I know is called and it is yuck for a pretty young girl to be called I've.

Mind you not keen on Iris either.

My daughter is called Harriet though and most people say that is an old lady's name.

They are both good choices. Though Ivy makes me think of Ivy Tilsley from Coronation Street that I used to watch when a child
