Love but cant use

Serena - in the family
Carina - Ditto
Marina - ridiculous with dh's job!

Delphine - dh says donkey
Amandine - thinknpeople stressing the second syllable instead of first would irritate
Emmeline - too similar to Emily

Any other suggestions?

Celestine, Selina, Magdalina, margarina. It's difficult, I hope someone else has better ideas.

There was a similar thread to this recently. I'll try to find it for you as it had some great suggestions; then descended into the likes of Margerine, Windoline and Vaselin!

I always liked Justine if we'd had girls. Great name and very out of fashion right now so there wouldn't be hundreds.

Some great suggestions here, thanks :)

Some more that i like but cant use:

Helena - DD1's mn is Helen
Nina - another family name
Evangeline - dont like Evie
Josephine / Georgina are lovely but the feminist within me would prefer a name that is not a feminised boys name.

Like Severine and Sandrine but DH thinks they are too poncey.

Angelina - hmmm. I dont find A Jolie a very likeable person. Is it silly to let this put me off?
Sabina - love this but DH had a colleague named this and isnt keen. Will work on it :o
Seraphine - is it a bit frilly?
