Middle names for henry and primrose

We now have our names but i could do with a little help with middle names for these two,atm we quite like

Henry william
primrose ariadne (not sure if this is a bit of a mouthful)

Any suggestions would be great

Henry William is fine, but William Henry hangs together better,
I don't like Primrose at all, so I would have something like Primrose Elizabeth . Definitely not Ariadne.

Agree that Ariadne doesn't really flow with Primrose. I love Primrose though.

primrose - likely to be get called names like 'miss prim and proper' or 'prissy primrose' at school. ariadne is nice though, and arry as a nickname is ok.

Primrose is more tricky; I agree that you may want to pick something a little 'plainer'. Mary? Catherine?

Primrose Ariadne is a huge mouthful! Also, although it is a lovely name i do think that little girls given sweet delicate flower names can sometimes grow up to be not sweet and not delicate (my nice way of saying rather overweight with a facial hair problem) you may like to give her a more traditional, short middle name that she could elect to use instead of Primrose (although she may shorten 'primrose' to 'rose'? )

I love Primrose as well, we are using it as a middle name. For use as a first name I like a classic name as a middle name, something like:

Primrose Grace
Primrose Rachel
Primrose Claire

I think William Henry sounds better, but they do sound ok together.

I think Primrose Ariadne does sound like a mouthful, I like the names though.
Primrose Catherine does sound lovely.

Fraid I'm with justwantcheese - I love primroses (they've just come into bloom in my garden) but as a name, I think of Mrs Shipman. It is a bit of an obscure connection, I know, but there it is...

Ariadne is a lovely name though - but best matched with something simple.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ariadne as a middle name (used it myself for DD1 ) but I don't think it goes with Primrose.

Don't have any suggestions I'm afraid, but I think something with fewer syllables would flow better.

In my opinion Primrose is enough on its own, otherwise maybe choose a one syllable middle name?

Agreed, Henry William is fine. Primrose Ariadne sound awful. Quite like Primrose but a middle name for it needs to be short and simple. Suggestions;

good point snakespeare. i also think it does the adult woman a huge disservice to be lumbered with a 'flowery' name. i know a wonderful, bright lawyer who was wrongly (imho) passed over for partnership. sadly she has a twee, little girl flower name which is totally unsuited to her personality or career (think daisy, etc) - i often wonder if her name has been a draw back.
