Is Vivienne a horrible name?

I like the sound and I like it written down and dont mind it shortened to viv. Husband finds it criminally horrible. Really?

I think Young Ones as well.

It's not a name I'd use, indeed it's not a name I like, but it's a perfectly good name IYSWIM.

It's nice enough written down, but Viv is hideous, and, yes, I'm afraid it makes me think of the Young Ones, too. Is it pronounced VIV-ian or Vivi-ENNE, btw?
