Ernie?

This name came to me in a moment of pregnancy induced madness and I really like it! I haven't put it forward to DP yet but it is likely to be instantly vetoed. When you think of the name do you think of the fastest milkman in the west before anything else? Should I shove it to the back of my mind and never let it surface again or is it due a comeback?

Love it. Mum's Godfather's name (I never met my GPs on that side so Uncle Ernie had that role and I now consider it a family name)

It's our top name if we ever have a boy. Really like it. Taught an Ernie and he was the nicest little lad (and very cool too).

I think the name Ernest is fantastic!!!! I know a little Ernie and I think it is a real cool name. I think all the 'old' man names are good.

Not Morecambe and Wise fans, although given Eric is our oldest it would be easy not to say their names together!
