Walking around my neck of the woods I think it would be a good idea if Britih registrars could also intervene when necessary: Tia Maria, Lotus Élan, April-May, Tequila are some of the corkers I've heard of over the years

Don't they go one step further in France and have an approved list of names which you have to choose from?

Like you say, in some cases it would seem this would be a good idea in this country!! Wink

One of those names refused, Justus is a very, very old name! It's a Saint's name, and the name of a 19th Century German scientist.

I agree with having limits, oh hell yes, but it can possibly go too far.
