love the names but OMG initials

I love the name Oscar matthew for our little boy due in April.
But his initials would be O.M.G.
My dh loves the names but hatesb what the initials Spell out as he.thinks its too.chavvy....would this bother you?

I can't see how initials can be seen as chavvy. You are obviously choosing the names because you love them. I personally don't care what someone's initials spell. There will be some on here that say its a no no though.

DD2 is WC so could be worse. We did however add two more middle names...

In reality how often will he have to use his initials?

My dd2 has END for her initials and I can't think of one occasion in the last year that has involved using them.

LOVE Oscar btw, was top of my list if Dd2 had been a boy.

If you are worried, just add a second middle name but I doubt if there is much need to worry; how often do we use all of our intials.

Why don't you call him Oscar Matthew Francis G...

We had similar with ds1 and 2 initials would have been RAT and PIT so we added an extra middle name. We had two middle names with ds3 as well to keep things even.

Yes, just add an extra middle name, also by the time he is older maybe OMG will not be around or in usage as much as it is now?

Oh I love it!! What about changing his surname? Then he coud be "William Thomas Franklin"
