I didn't think she'd go for an old lady name like Ivy, can't say I like it much but is very understated for a hip hop / pop star name.

When I first saw thread title I thought the op was asking for views on THE NAME Beyonce - thank fook for that!

I could imagine her with a Blue Ivy rather than the other way round. Although it does sound like an air freshener or something. I like Ivy.

It's Ivy Blue - was surprised at the Ivy part, but apparently it's a reference to the number 4 (IV) as both their birthdays are on the 4th of a month, they got married on 04/04 and her latest album is titled 4.

I dont love it but then its not my child but I dont hate it either.

Also, its only when making birth announcements where people will hear the full name including middle name.

I know a lot of people have old fashion middles names like Ivy after Grandparents and the like. My middle name is my Nan's name.

So on the whole she'll be Blue Carter, which I said isnt that bad for a celebrity baby
