Can anybody think of any? DH and I love the name Thea but would really like some nickname possibilities please? Quite like the idea of using a middle name to make a nickname e.g. Penelope Rose ... Posy. Any ideas...?! Thanks x

I should think this particular Thea has a nickname by now... this is a zombie thread from 2011 so she'll be nine this year Grin

sharron and artimus = shart
penelope and isabella = penis
bridget and estella = breast
grace and imogen = grim

Teddy, Tiggy, Tess, Tessie, Tootie.

In Judy Garland's 'Meet Me In St Louis' the sisters are called Rose, Esther (Judy Garland), Agnes and Tootie. We don't hear Tootie's real name in the film....

Why not choose Alethea? Then you can use Thea. Really unusual yet classic. Lovely

My kids have quite short names anyway (Harri - sorry for Harrison- and Lara); their friends tend to just call them by the first syllable, ie Har and La (not a fan, but hey, that’s what kids do!).

Short for, not sorry for!!
