definitely another girl! Eliza Joy?

doc says that we have dd2 on the way! :) DD1 is Beatrice Rose. I have previously posted on here about the names Anna, Jemima and Lavinia (although DP has decided he doesn't like any of them!) Eliza was on our shortlist for DD1 but didn't really consider it this time because i thought it would get too popular after natalie cassidy calling her baby it and the singer. however, this doesn't seem to be the case. do you think Joy works as a middle name or still too dated?

Joy is a lovely middle name.

Personally I think of Eliza as a bit nicknamey or Victorian chambermaid-ish, so would have Elizabeth as full name, so Elizabeth Joy, with Eliza for short.

But Anna is my favourite of the names you've mentioned.

Lovely, although Eliza is defininitely a bit trendy. I'd go for Elizabeth personally as it's much less likely to date, and call her Eliza. Joy is gorgeous - I am going to steal it for my list!

Eliza is nice but quite fashionable at the moment.

Not keen on Lavinia or Jemima.

Joy is lovely.

Beautiful. Love Eliza but have an Elise in the family so can't use it and Joy is very underused but a refreshing change from fecking Grace/Mae.

Joy is my DDs middle name and everyone says it's lovely, we obviously like it too! Eliza is also a gorgeous name, I think you've made a good choice

Fab name. I'd have Elizabeth on bc too if it was me- DD is Bess with Elizabeth officially, I thought we'd never use the full version but it turns out to be a fun name to play with.
