Classic, definitley. Would have used James myself if it wasn't already taken in my family, it's wonderful. And Alexander is truly lovely too

LOve it! Love it! Alexander one of my fav boys names (although for various reasons not used) and so is James.

Exactly its really common (as it in lots of them). If that doesnt bother you fine but there are lots of great non mad names out there much more interesting than James Alexander which imo is instantly forgettable.

Love it, both names and the combination - if I didn't already have an Amy Jamie/James would be a strong contender for #4
And we have an Alan too, so 2 names which could be shortened to AL are out :( really should have looked at the implicatuions for future DC before naming the ones we have!
I even like Alexandra for a girl

I find James really boring, sorry. I think because it has been overdone in the past. It also feels abit plural.
