Any opinions on this for our dd? I want to name her something unusual and slightly hippyish but not too bizarre. Atm I love this name but I keep changing my mind, damn hormones!

Think its a lovely name - have only known one Seren, who must be about 9 now I think.

I know loads. Very popular in Wales (bodes line chavvy in some areas)

I hadn't heard of the name Seren til recently, but I think it's beautiful. I know a Seren at university but it's short for Serenella, and she's from Singapore not Wales!

Tis alright with an i though, and much rarer.

That's because it's made up.

Tis a nice name, but chavvy as anything around here (North Yorks) now, every other little girl is called Seren and it's become one of those names you hear screamed across the park every 10 seconds by an angry chavvy mother. "Kaiden! Seren! Cum 'ere! NOW!"

Nigglenaggle · 13/07/2012 21:06

Really like it

There is one in my ds gymnastics class and I'm in Ireland and we are generally way behind in the baby name trends! It's a lovely name! Is it also a boys name or am I totally wrong???

I only know one Seren. And she's a Rottweiler Wink. Gorgeous dog though (and I really like the name)
