Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think.

Girls
Elisa
Livia
Tullia

Livia is okay but I do prefer Olivia.

Tullia reminds me of Tulips! How about Tallulah instead?

Elisa is quite nice.

Thanks Melina. How would you pronounce Elisa - would the "s" be hard or soft - i.e., would it sound like the "s" in star or in Pisa?

I prefer Olivia too - though its very popular.
I guess Elisa would be like 'Lisa' but with an 'E' in front?! (soft 's')
Eliza (hard 's' / z) is nice too.

halecromp · 18/11/2011 09:22

I like Elisa and Livia but not keen on Tullia x

I'd go for more familiar or easily pronounced names. Alyssa, Olivia, Talia.

ellesabe · 18/11/2011 19:32

I like Elisa the most

RonnieBirtles · 18/11/2011 22:41

I love Livia and Liv is a very cool nn.

Not keen on the other two at all, I'm afraid.

LiviaAugusta · 19/11/2011 05:16

Love the name Elisa, it's very pretty. Livia's pretty good too and I like the shortening of Liv.

LadyMetroland · 19/11/2011 10:25

Livia is nice but everyone in the world will think she's called Olivia and you'll spend your whole life saying, "no, it's Olivia without the O"

Thanks, everyone, for the comments.
