Hi folks,

What do you think of the name Blake for a boy? DH has just come up with it, can't decide what I make of it.

Thanks!!

I know a little Blake and he's lovely, the name really suits him so I rather like it now.

Love Blake, especially if your DS has dark hair. Not sure why :)

Love it though dh vetoed

Wow thanks guys great feedback. I knew I had a bad feeling about the name and now I realise it was cos of that loser Fielder-Civil! I'm sure my little one can overcome that link. Won't veto it for DH now anyway.

Lovin the Dallas reference too - know exactly what you mean Smile

I've always found it a bit 'weak'-sounding, and it reminds me of bleak...

jellybeans · 16/11/2011 17:12

I like it.

A friend of mine called her son Blake - he's almost 2 now, I wasn't keen when she first said the name but it does really suit the baby.

dollywashers · 17/11/2011 11:24

My nephew is called Blake. It really suits him. I think it's a strong name.
