Some girls names

Just putting out a few of the girls names we have thought about. Still have ages to go but the shortlist we are thinking of are below. With regards to popularity we are in Ireland so names that may be hugely popular in the UK may not be in Ireland. DS1 has an Irish name but we do not need to have another Irish name for DC2. Any thoughts appreciated:

Emilia
Lauren
Claire
Aisling (Ashling)
Fiadh (Fee-ah)
Alannah- though DH not too sure

Emilia - like
Lauren - like
Claire - like, and not overused at the moment
Aisling (Ashling) - like
Fiadh (Fee-ah) - could get confused with fear and Thea
Alannah - OK although the "Alan" beginning makes it a bit less feminine

I love Emilia and Alannah, don't mind Fiadh, Claire and Lauren but really dislike Aisling!

Love Emilia and Lauren, quite like Claire and Fiadh too xxx

I've always loved Aisling, and Lauren and Alannah are lovely from your list too...

I like them all, apart from Alannah, not a fan of it, sorry. I think Lauren is a lovely name, I have a Sofia and she gets Fia (Fee-ah) , its lovely when you hear it.

I would think Fiadh would get mixed up with Fiach a bit.

I like Claire a lot, also Lauren, and Alannah is a stylish name imo. I grew up with a lot of Aislings so I tend to think of it as a really popular name even still.

I love Emilia (my sister-in-law called her daughter Amelia so can't use it...)! Not keen on the other names you suggest I'm afraid..
