okay so we're having a boy (have picked a girls name just in case) but can't get a first name. Needs to go with michael and surname Smith. Michael definitely being the middle name after my father but not the first name.

Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks in advance xxx

I think with Smith (being very common) I'd choose a more unusual (outside top 100) first name.

How about Dominic Michael Smith, Gregory Michael Smith, Orson Michael Smith or Quentin Michael Smith?

Alexander Michael Smith
Albert Michael Smith
Louis Michael Smith

I think as Smith is only 1 syllable maybe a longer first name would be better - eg.

Dominic
Sebastian (though SS prob not so good)
Nathaniel
Alexander
Christopher / Christian
Anthony

But be careful because some of these long names end up shortened and won't sound great with Smith e.g. Alex Smith, Chris Smith Grin. Also Louis Smith sounds like Louie Smith and James Smith as Jame Smith as the s's run into each other.

I think Dominic Smith, Quentin Smith, Anthony Smith and Nathan Smith all sound great and very elegant!

Luke Michael Smith
Peter Michael Smith
Oliver Michael Smith
Frederick Michael Smith
Henry Michael Smith
Zachary Michael Smith
Edwward Michael Smith
