I Know someone with a Maison! Whenever she talks about her son on Facebook I automatically read it the French house way!

My cousin is Mason ,He is the eldest Mason I know at 46,Very unusual when we were young ,his dad was in films though and did hang around with Americans.I like it .

Sorry I don't like it. My ds has a Mason in his class. It doesn't appear to be that commonly used around here though, so I think that is an advantage.

Sorry, it's not "different" anymore, it's one of those names people think is different and then find there's loads in their child's class. I know 2 in DS1's year, 1 in DS2's year and another at Cubs and they are all, I'm afraid, little horrors....which does colour my opinion of it as a name

I love it - it was me who asked about spelling it Mason or Maison - got totally ridiculed about spelling it Maison, but it's my favourite boys name at the moment, and goes well my surname. Like it with the middle name James. If I have a boy I'm more than likely calling it Mason

Mason James sounds lovely imo. But I agree, not Maison.
