Nice but personally wouldn't as read Henry James' 'The Turn of the Screw' at an impressionable age (with spooky, possibly possessed children, Miles and Flora). That's not a reference that's going to bother many people though.

Bit "rah" but I like it and it makes me think of This Life (that's a good thing!).

Plural of Mile to my ears. There are far nicer names imo. Don't see what is 'rah' or 'poncy' about it though ?

Fab name. I have known a few and never heard jokes and jibes about distance - don't think it would be a major issue, surely?

I've taught 3 at secondary and based on that extensive research I would say that all boys called Miles or Myles are lovely and polite.
