I've seen people mention a site where you can check how many people were given a particular name in a given year? Is it a government website? Any clues appreciated, thanks.

Do you mean the ONS (online national statistics)? I don't have a link but I'm sure others will

Girls, there used to be a marvellous wesite - it had list of the 2010 names against the 2009 list with lines showing how the names had moved up or down, and when you hovered over a name it told you how many babies were given that name that year. It was really infomative and user friendly! I was sure that it was on the National Statistics website but the links above are for Excel sheets - not what I am thinking of. I'm sure I got the original link on Mumsnet - why oh why didn't I bookmark it? Can anyone help?
