What's your fave nature-related name?

I've been on a nature kick the last couple of days ...

I quite like Rain/Raine, Sky, Ocean.

When I was younger I swore I'd name a boy Canyon Blush and I also liked Lake, Briar, and Laurel.

Any others to inspire me?

I like Sky. I know a grown man called Sky. Lovely.

Rain is nice. Ocean is a bit too much, imo.

Lonnie · 26/10/2011 14:41

Raine was one of our main contender's for ds had he been a girl.

Hazel I always loved

and I just adore Basil

strandednomore · 26/10/2011 14:42

I know a Summer and an Autumn, not sure if they count?
Err Holly? Laurel is nice. There's all the usual girls flowery names.
Ice?

Francagoestohollywood · 26/10/2011 14:44

Oh I love River, mainly because I still have a crush on River Phoenix.

MuddlingThroughItAll · 26/10/2011 14:45

I have a Heath with I obviously thinks it's a beautiful name not at all biast or anything

We also have a Darwin which could be thought as as slightly nature-y (Charles Darwin evolution etc). That is a bit convoluted though!

MuddlingThroughItAll · 26/10/2011 14:46

Oh and our shortlisted middle name for DC5 is River! Thought looking at it like this that might be a bit of a nature overload!

strandednomore · 26/10/2011 14:48

I think River goes well with Heath and Darwin. I

Ephiny · 26/10/2011 14:50

Flubba · 26/10/2011 14:50

Sorrel and Willow.

stripeybumpinthenight · 26/10/2011 14:51

Raine is lovely. You could always go for Lorraine and shorten it as a nn.

Fishpants · 26/10/2011 14:52

Ooh, I forgot about River. I do love that name.

I know a Willow, she is a brat though Grin

OOOOOOH forgot about one I quite like which is Ivy. Does Eden count?

Sorrel, only know one and she is very cute.

How about Dianthe or even Eartha?

Thzumbazombiewitch · 26/10/2011 15:32

PMSL at Frogspawn! Surprised you didn't think of Frogmella [hwink]

My favourite used to be Willow but I've gone off it somewhat.
Now I think it's Zephyr - a name I tried to foist on Arizonagirl (to stop her calling her DS Beauden) but she wouldn't agree [hsad]
