Can't decide!

Trying to decide and having real problems. I really like the following:

Willow
Tillyana
Darcey
Jemima
Beatrice
Olivia
Florence (worried that it is too much of the moment)

but somehow none of them seem totally right (hormones probably) at the moment (2 months to go). If you like any of these can you suggest something similar. My mind is blank, am exhausted and panicking that I don't have enough time to work it out.

Thank you

I love Beatrice and Jemima. How about Romilly?

alittleteapot · 26/10/2011 09:58

Also voting for Beatrice or Jemima - Bea lovely short too. What about Verity? Also a lovely name.

I feel for you - choosing a name can be exhausting and hard work. Try having a break from it for a couple of weeks to clear your head.

Willow - OK
Tillyana - NO, sounds like the hormones have taken over.

Darcey - No
Jemima - Sweet
Beatrice - Lovely
Olivia - Lovely
Florence (worried that it is too much of the moment) - Beautiful

Also like Beatrice and Jemima best. Darcey is lovely too. Olivia is a bit too popular as is florence. The others are a bit silly.

Willow - awful
Tillyana - dreadful
Darcey - no
Jemima - like
Beatrice - ok
Olivia - ok
Florence - ok

I agree with Doozie, take a break as after a while everything sounds strange to you! Of your list I like all except Tillyana (although I do like Tilly so maybe Tilly Anna). How about Ariella, Aubrey, Lucia, Cerys?

mummylovesnancy · 26/10/2011 12:17

My daughter is called Nancy, which of course I love! I'll share that with you if you like? :o She was going to be Olivia at first but it didn't suit and seemed too common.
I'm expecting number 3 now and if it's another girl we like Ramona. We go for the unusual ones!
Florence is the only one from your list that I like, sorry!
I like Alice, Annie, Matilda, Annabell all the old fashioned ones.
A friend of mine was in a similar situation, she had the baby and she had no name for weeks, so she decided to let her eldest (4 at the time) name her and he chose Bluebell. It couldn't have suited her more!
Don't panic, you'll come up with something lovely! x

I like the last four very much, but dislike the first three. Good luck!

Suggestions

Susannah
Penelope
Alice
Matilda

Thank you - it's so hard! Keep them coming though. I like Alice and Rose....

Like Jemima best of all, followed by Florence and Beatrice. Olivua is ok, if v popular. Really don't like Willow, Tillyana or Darcwy .
