I've been over this a 100 times and i can't figure it out. I also keep changing my mind which isn't helping

We love DD's name as it's strong yet feminine whist being a bit different and not hugely popular. Not as easy second time around!!!

scarlet do you mean vetoed? I like India and Indie too but I have seen on another thread a while ago some girls called India were teased horribly.

OMG....yes i do jilted DH say's it's kicking the ass out of being posh! All children get teased...a name is the easiest place to start I guess!

My sister's middle name is Marina and she hates it, she has always been teased and people sing that song from Stingray (?) to her, but that isn't very current so it would probably only be your older relatives that would be guilty. Recently the mermaid in Jake and the Neverland Pirates (Disney) is called Marina so I expect it will start becoming a bit more popular.

Violet is a sweet name too. I have aversions to the other names because of people I know with them that I dislike but that doesn't mean that they are not lovely - strange how names can do that.

I do like Iona but agree it's a bit too similar to Honor. Maybe OK as a middle name though.

Love love love Serena, and Cosima is nice too (neither really work with Iona as mn, but you have plenty of other choices!).

Charlotte and Katherine are fine, but feel a bit ordinary and over-used.

Serena Rose would be lovely.

Beatrice (aka Betty) is my DD's name. She's Beatrice Rosalinde, so I'd choose Beatrice Rose from your list. I also love Violet. Beatrice Rose or Violet Alice.

Katherine aka Kit - nice, although likely to get Katie rather than kit
Charlotte - nice classic, not sure it goes with Honor
Davina - sorry I hate this reminds me of hobby davina mcall
India - not keen, again don't think it goes with honor
Claudia - like this. It's uncommon but not odd!!
