I know a Saffron with Saffy for short. I think with Saphia though everyone with think you've misspelt Sophia .

I teach a Saffiya, Saffy for short and I really like it

A friend of mine sent me a message to say that she had called her daughter Elvisa. I pmsl then realised she wasn't joking

I also know a Safiya. I think it's lovely - suits the little girl perfectly. :)

Makes me think of lesbians too.
