Just thought of it and think it's lovely, though not for everyone am sure! What do you think?

Following this thread, DD has just bestowed Posy on her new baby guinea pig.

Maybe..... for a baby or a toddler but for heavens sake call her a "proper" sunday name like Josephine 'cos it's really cutsey sweet and will define your child if you aren't careful.

Posy is fine as an endearment but if you do plump for it I would suggest you use Josephine on her BC.

I think you would have to make it a nn for Josephine or something similar.

I like it because of ballet shoes, but I wonder if I would if I had never read ballet shoes, if that makes sense.
