Jack and Jude is a twee combination imo. I would go for something completely different - maybe have Jude as a mn.

tummytickler · 26/09/2011 21:18

Jack and Jude are too similar.

Jezabelle · 26/09/2011 21:18

Initial reaction, sounds a bit like Jack and Jill. I wouldn't personally (although LOVE the name Jude). But hey, if you love the combo, go for it!

beaditAli · 26/09/2011 21:20

Not sure I love the combo but I do love Jude Confused

I know someone with a Jack and a Rory and I seem to be the only person that thinks 'Jackanory' so wondering if a twee combo really matters?? Confused

Too similar imo. Its possible that there could be confusion when calling the names out. Its also possible that someone like me would write them down in terrible handwriting very quickly and it would be tricky to distinguish between the two.

How about

Jack and Luke
Jack and Miles
Jack and Oliver
Jack and William
Jack and Henry/Harry
Jack and Charles/Charlie
Jack and Frederick/Freddie
Jack and Mark
Jack and Samuel
Jack and Aidan

We have Jack and Alfie.

I know two people who have boys called Jack and Josh.

M0naLisa · 26/09/2011 23:31

BTW my mum always says jock and hash as she gets the name muddled haha

Why not? Confused

MmeLindor. · 27/09/2011 08:01

Too much like Jack and Jill, imo.

Truffleshuffler · 27/09/2011 08:04

Also makes me think of Jack and Jill

Bunbaker · 27/09/2011 08:09

When they are older they might be opening each other's mail (if snail mail still exists then).
I know an entire family who all have first names beginning with the same letter and they have made the mistake of opening the wrong letters.

rachel234 · 27/09/2011 08:35

No, too similar. I do like Jude though.
