Nature names

I've been thinking about names for my as-yet-theoretical dc2 (planning to start ttc in the next few months). Dd is Rowan, I would like to call dc2 after a plant/tree/flower/animal like the big old hippy that I am. For a boy dp likes Ash, have also considered Robin, have no ideas for a girl. Ideally I'd like something normal enough not to stand out at school.

Any ideas?

I love Linnet for a girl. And Fern. And Hazel.

Fir, Lake, Blake, Forrest, Robin and Hawk for a boy

Summer, Hue, Opel, Leif, Willow and Fern for a girl.

Also you could use a river's name such as Donny or Seven or of a mountain like snowdon?

Linnet is beautiful. Also like Raven for a boy. I don't have enough boy nature names on my list...

I love Hebe and Clover for a girl.

How about Gaia, covers all of nature, mother earth.

I'm thinking very much along these lines too. We're currently thinking Ivy, Willow or Violet (Grandmother's middle name) for a girl, or Robin for a boy. Also love Rowan, but a close friend's DS already has that name.
