Ways of having Mary Catherine yet not having it as Mary Catherine.
(I'm welsh and DH irish)

Which one?

Mari Cadi
Mari Caitriona
Mairin Caitlin
Mairin Cadi

(all with fadas if appropriate but cant c&p it)

And haven't decided if fn and mn or both fn. But probably as fn and mn.

I like Mari Catriona best from the list :)

ilianora · 20/09/2011 20:14

Mari Cadi is lovely. is it pronounced 'ma-ree' or as mary?

mypersonalfavourite · 20/09/2011 20:17

Mairin Cadi for me. Lovely choices.

poormesomemore · 20/09/2011 22:41

Mairin Cadi definatly.

ilianora Mari is like Mah-ree.

I like Mari as well but prefer Mairin (though some may struggle with how to say it)

Janoschi · 20/09/2011 22:43

Cadi but I'm biased because I am one. Never ever met or read about another one though. Be prepared for golf and tea jokes - they wear a bit thin!

poppingkoalas · 21/09/2011 21:38

Mairin Cadi definatly. but then Mari Caitriona is nice as well.

ChineapplePunk · 21/09/2011 21:41

I like Mari Caitriona, and I AM a Mary Catherine :)
