Devon as a mn, for a girl - okay or just too much?

But for a girl would Devon be okay? (definatly having it as a mn if Dc is DS)
After my DBro who back home in jamaica
DH thinks maybe in UK a bit much and that has given me the wobbles about it
So is it just a bridge too far? or fine?

I think it's fine for either gender. I love mns that have family connections.

I know a little girl with this as her mn. I was abit at first but now it's grown on me (she no longer lives here but Devon was her home iyswim)

I like it - perhaps plan a trip to Devon too before he/she arrives to give it even more significance

I think its a great idea as mn. Middle names should have some meaning imo, I don't understand why people use middle names for the sake of it. A family connection is a great idea and middle names are an opportunity to use something slightly more unusual that you wouldn't neccessarily use as a first name.

In fact I think Devon is not weird enough.
