i ove John and Jonathon (johnny or Jonty) brilliant name.

Meteorite · 19/09/2011 20:07

John is very nice, an underused classic. Due a revival I think!

hugebluebump · 19/09/2011 21:31

John is lovely. As is Ted. But not Will (will is a verb imo and too close to Willy). How about Quinn or Paul?

whizzyrocket · 21/09/2011 14:02

I'm with you on Ted blue, or Bill? Jonathan is nice, but I think John is a little boring.

Ralph (Melina suggested it, but even when pronounced Rafe it is traditionally spelt Ralph) is lovely too.
Mark
Matthias
Timothy/ Tim
Benjamin/ Ben

John is fine

I dont think there is a problem with Will as a name my Grandad was known by this name and it never got added to or changed to Willy.

Also went to College with a Will and a Pip and they were both very nice looking boys who didnt get the mick taken out of them for their names. And yes Pip was his full name
