My cat is called Matilda (her pic is on my MN profile) and I call her Tilda as a nn.

Since we've had the cat I've actually really started to like the name Tilda for a child, but just don't think I could use it as everyone would think she was named after our cat

I adore the name Tilda (Swinton variety) and it's in my top 2 with Lorelei if DC is s girl. I think Tilly is a lovely nm and that it's unusual. I'm personally not bothered about the rice brand but it's up to you
