Opinions on Shortlist - RWM. We are dong this quickly so opinions please

Right taken from some wonderful suggestions on MN we have very very quickly churned out (luckily we are both off today) a shortlist from some of those ideas as we only have 3 weeks till B-Day and had to change our plans.

We already have a DD Alicia Rae nn Albie

Initals have to be RWM and at least one of the names is German, So what do you think??

Rowan or Robin and Romy - any of the middle names are good combos.

Rune is TERRIBLE!

Don't forget that the whole name will be very rarely used. I think you might be focusing on that a bit too much - as in, to 99% of people they will just be Rowan, Romy etc. So concentrate most on the first name you love, then just let the rest follow. I have to say I'm not sold on any of the boy first names - Rory and Ross are dull, and Rune - eeek!

What about Ronan, Rhodri, Richard (or Rhisiart in Welsh?) Rafe?

I like Robin and Rune from your boys list and Rowena from the girls list.

I agree, focus on the first name. The others are rarely used anyway.

shouty fair point ta. Richard (Rhisiart) we don't want to use. the initials are after someone and he was Richard so don't want that. Rafe I don't like. Rhodri DH has just made a face so not that one. Ronan I really like but it is too like what I am known as, which we wouldn't like.

I love Ross and Romy, Rowena is nice too

I like Romy for a girl. (though Rowena is fine)
As middle names goes I like the W ones (Wednesday included actually I surprised myself). The M ones are alright - nothing setting me alight and I think you could switch the M names around.
So in order
Romy Wednesday Mina /Romy Wednesday Mae sound good too.
Romy Winter Martha
Rowena Wednesday Mae
Rowena Willow Margarete

Rune for a boy I like. I like the W mn apart from Wolfric and M ones don't like Myles.
So the best ones are, in order

I really wouldnt use Waldo for a middle name! It sounds like someone who is a bit daft. I love Wolf or Wolfie/wolfric though!

Romy is so pretty. And lovely with Winter Martha, both fab names

Ross or Rory are best from Boys names.

Wednesday reminds me of Addams family, but somehow maybe it works with the other ones.

Boys wise I like Rune or Ross (depends on what you want to go for 'feeling' wise) mn wise don't like Wolfric or Wilhelm or Markus and Myles

Girls wise I like either Rowena or Romy
Don't know if I can get my head around Wednesday in RL But I really love Winter. Willow is fine. Mae I like (like how your DD1 has Rae and they would be spelt the same) and the others I like too just not Martha.

I have a Rowan so obviously I like that one. I also like Rowan for a girl.

How about Romy Willow Marguerita for a girl and Rudi Wolf Meinhart for a boy.

running I knew it was a scandinavian name but didn't know it was pronounced differently to the english way (Roon). How would it be pronounced the scaninavian way??

I love Romy for a girl but would combine it with Winter and May or Millie. I also love Ramona (which I think has German origins) for a girl with Romy as a nickname. What about Willow as the W?

For a boy I like Robin best for the first name, followed by Rory then Rowan, not keen on the others though. Love Wolf for the first middle and then would go for Milo.

I'm sure you already know this...but Rowan is also a girls name. So you could still use it?!?!

I know 3 girls called Rowan and 2 boys called Rohan I think the Rohan spelling would be better for a boy imo.

But for me...

Rory and Romy

Not really keen on your choice of middle names esp Wednesday but then i'm not at all brave and very boring when it comes to names LOVE Wolf that's super cool.

Well hitme the danish way is Roon-eh (that is the best way I can explain it)
It's DH's name (being danish he says it like that) but now when people read it here he is always correcting them and they think he is bonkers. But it is also said ROON in sweden and other palces in scandanivian etc. So both are correct. (I would say go for Roon - more people say it that way and I always think it sounds like DH has a girls name the way he says it)

Rory Wilhelm Myles is the best of the boy names imo.
(Rune is too close to 'rube' meaning dumbass).

Both of these girl combinations would be lovely. (I would use Margarete instead of Martha though)

Love Robin or Rowan for a boy. Waldo and Wolf are dreadful, sorry - and Rune sounds like somebody from a fantasy novel.

Only like Martha and Margaret from the girls' list but if you HAVE to have a W middle name, Willow is far, far better than the others imho.
