Heather?

Iona (eye-ona)
Eleanor
Lorna
Catriona (2 ways of saying this - CAT-tree-ona, or KATE-tree-ona)
Elspeth
Avril / Averil
Flora
Freda/Freya

NB these are more 'std' Scots, or were you wanting a Gaelic name? These (Gaelic) are the ones with the least obvious pronunciations!

Caitriona. Sounds like Katrina. Mhairi, sounds like Varry. Caitlin. Sounds like Kaytlin or a very gentle Kathleen. Variations on Marie (Maree or Marry).

It might be worth looking at the meanings of some or looking back through his family tree for some family names.
