Origins of Hawwa?

I know it means Eve in Arabic, or vice-versa as some may argue, but I have been wondering is it also the original name of Eve in the bible? I googled it and one or two places say it is Eve in the Hebrew Bible, but I've also read that Eve in the Hebrew Bible is Chavvah - though for all I know this could be pronounced Hawwa, I can certainly see the similarity between Chavvah and Hawwa compared to Eve... anyone know a bit more about the name?

Does it matter? it's a hideous name... Eve is nice though :)

I really dislike the name Eve (everyone has their own opinion) but like 'Eve' in the Bible/Koran, so would like a name that actually reflected that.
