I couldnt find any discussion on here about the name Lorne. It's a Scottish boys name. I think it's lovely, what do you think?

I am Scottish and went to school with a girl called Lorne - it's a girls name as far as I know!

I think the lady in cash in the attic is called Lorne.

I can't believe how many people have never heard of this as a name! I'm Scottish and would say it's a well know name and I know a few, also from Oban so maybe is more of a west coast thing though?

cakeoholic · 03/09/2011 19:31

Oh and I've only ever heard of it as a boys name. And I like it :)

I like Lorne for a boy. It is simple, easy to say/spell and not overused.

(but then I have never heard of a lorne sausage Confused)
