fourth DS and running out of names!

Hello, I'm new to posting here so I'll keep it brief. Having already had three boys (Dexter nn Dex, Nicolas nn Nico and Fergus nn Gus) my DH and I have completely run out of names for the fourth! We are thinking of maybe using Alistair (with the nn Alo), Chester (with the nn Chess) or Alexander (with the nn Sandy). However we don't love any of those so would love some suggestions of names that are similar/would go with our other sons names. I'm hoping that by hearing lots of suggestions through a forum that the right name will just leap out!

hulabula · 29/08/2011 20:30

You cannot call a Benedict Bendy - that will inevitably lead to Bendy Dick, sorry Grin.

I love Alistair (Ali), Gregory (Greg) and how about Quentin (Quinn) or Leonard (Leo)?

MadameCastafiore · 29/08/2011 20:33

We have a Maximilian who is a Max - everyone thinks is very very cool.

How about Otto - is my all time fave name.

LaTristesse · 29/08/2011 20:34

Oh i feel for you, I'm struggling with just 2!

DS1 is Nico so I think we may be in the same page... Currently considering the following for DS2: Linus, Gabe, Elias, Arlo, and Lorien.

MadHatter302 · 29/08/2011 21:04

Oooh I love Arlo, don't think I would be brave enough to use it though!

ROFL @ Bendy, sorry!

Love all your DS's names, and others have given you lots of great suggestions. Think Ted, Tad, Lawrie or Kes would go really well with the others. Or Alex?

AnnMarie82 · 29/08/2011 22:48

I love the suggestions of Ted, Patrick (Patch) and Tris and think they go beautifully with your other DS's fabulous names! Good luck with the new arrival :)

PegPolkadot · 29/08/2011 22:59

I have a Dexter-great choice! Miles is his middle name, maybe give that a go?

curlwur200 · 30/08/2011 18:04

I agree that Miles or Cassius would go very well with your other sons' names

LaTristesse · 30/08/2011 20:36

I heard Cassian the other day which I love, and could be nn Cass too...

autumngirl231 · 31/08/2011 20:32

Sandy is a great name from your own list, how about Cass and Mac (as already suggested) or Kit, Ned or Ash?

bunintheoven1 · 01/09/2011 22:01

Dex, Nico, Gus and Sandy does have a pretty good ring to it!

Sandy & Ali are girls names. Do you have to have a nickname?
What about Ellis. Otis, Hugo or Callum?
