Totally hypothetical at this point but I mentioned to DH the other night that i really like the name Honor and he is not of the same mind, to say the least! He says it is pretentious. Do you agree?

Beckie is a bit dated. Nothing wrong with that I guess but it's very 'meh' as they say on mumsnet (again, so sorrry to any mums of beckies, it's just not my cup of tea)

"Yes your Honour" oo imagine if she was a High Court judge Grin

Scarlett

My others are ds1 William, ds2 is Lucas, dd1 is Honor and dd2 is Alexandra. I like kick arse names for girls as you can probably tell! (probably because I HATE my own sickly sweet name..) Grin

goingdownhill thank you for sharing. Smile

When my Honor was born a dear friend told me I'd picked a 'very strong name but which was feminine too' Quite tough to find something equally kick arse to match.

Breadandhoney how hypothetically speaking is this? Only asking as girls names that we liked when we were expecting our first two (who were ds1 and ds2 Grin) didn't even get mentioned when we were expecting our third - and dd has a totally different name to either of the ones we favoured years before. (large time gap between.)
