Is there a female version or one that looks like/sounds like James (to use as a middle name if DC is DD) ?

Thanks

Just to add to wearenot's post that's where the name of our flag, Union Jack, comes from - king James!
Why not give your DD the name James, she'll prob thinks it really cool when she's older.

Isn't there a model or actress called James something or another?

beanlet · 24/08/2011 15:15

Porn "actress" Jenna James, yes. But James is her surname (phew).

Whysoserious · 25/08/2011 08:12

Yes there's an actress / model called James King. She's in Pearl Harbour. She seems to be going by the name Jaime King now but she was James when she was younger and modelling for definite. I remember reading about her in my nan's Telegraph magazine when she was 16 and thinking how cool she looked and how brilliant it was that she was called James!

I know a girl called Jimmy. She is ver ver posh.

Etta James was named after her father, James, and Etta was short for Jamesetta. I assume that "James" as her surname was a stage name or married name, other wise she would have been Jamesetta James, daughter of James James.

I know a child called Caitlin Catherine!

just been on nameberry and Jamesette/Jamesetta/Jamese are listed on there as names

They also suggested Vesper (because its a Bond girls name. That could be an interresting route to take.)

AmziePie · 25/08/2011 21:37

I think either Jemma (or spelt Gemma) or Jamie :)

deste · 25/08/2011 23:50

Jamieson means son of James. I think that says it all.
