Kate Moss's bridesmaids! Some lovely names.

I thought the same. I love Elfie (what's it short for?)

SaffronCake · 18/08/2011 14:38

It's a sleb wedding Elfie is probably just named after elves.

PercyFilth · 18/08/2011 17:01

I really like Mercy

Suits both a child and a grown woman, a name for all ages. It's traditional in the style of Grace but hasn't caught on in the same way - yet.

stripeybump · 18/08/2011 17:02

Is it not short for Mercedes like her off Hollyoaks?

PercyFilth · 18/08/2011 17:07

It can be - isn't Mercedes the plural of mercy in Spanish? But Mercy is the English version of the name and is complete in itself.

deliakate · 18/08/2011 18:06

I loved Mercy, too. DH just said "Mercy, mercy" in a silly voice every time I mentioned it, and wouldn't have considered it :(

I love poppy.

TangerineQueen · 18/08/2011 23:06

Could be Eleftheria or Elpheba maybe?

Mercy - lovely! Used lots in Africa, not really here. Definitely a no-go with our surname sadly

GlaikitFizzog · 18/08/2011 23:10

Love Blythe. Elfie can stand on it's own I think. Not sure about Bliss. There was a bar in my hometown called Bliss. It wasn't somewhere you would take your mother IYKWIM Wink

YouDoTheMath · 19/08/2011 13:12

I like Elfine - slightly different from the above and a character in Cold Comfort Farm.

gapants · 19/08/2011 13:14

Elfine? Love it and Bliss, shortening for Elizabeth?

Charlotte aka Lottie is Kate Moss younger sister.....she's only 13 but stunning no doubt we'll see her on the catwalk before too long!
