Found out yesterday that we're having a boy, help!

Dh's first suggestions of names were Rio and Harvey !

We already have 4 between us with pretty traditional names, but this is his first son. He's ecstatic!

I like Arlo, Lucas and Evan but he doesn't, so please help with some fab suggestions that won't sound like we've named him after a footballer/ celeb!

I would follow the pattern with a traditional name.

I think Harvey and Lucas are great!

Again, I'd recommend staying fairly traditional. How about:

Christopher (Kit), Theodore, Edward (Teddy), Marcus, James, Richard, Angus, Jasper, Michael, Fergus, Dominic?

I like Lucas and Arlo but am not keen on Rio or Harvey. I also like Thomas, Tobias, Quentin, Patrick, Alexander and William.

Don't like Rio, Harvey, Lucas or Arlo.
LOVE Evan, wanted it for mine but it doesn't go with our surname.

What about Owen?

Thank you for your suggestions! I'll start feeding them in....

I already have a James and a Ryan, so they're both out. But you can see why Rio or Harvey just won't fit! I've actually slightly come round to Harvey, but with an H surname it sounds daft. Alexander is also out as it's my Dad's name and I don't like naming children after people, I like them to have their own new names iykwim.

I love Lucas, Evan and Arlo...... shame dh doesn't!

Oh and we can't have Jasper as that was our dog's name!

Rio is awful, Harvey is a rabbit and also Katie Price's son, that's enough for me! Not a fan of Evan or Arlo.

I agree that traditional is the way to go
